Very chinese breakfast - Fish, pickled vegies, dumplings, rice watery milk...oh and i am sure they would cook you up a frog from the tank if you wish or you could choose the dead fish from the tank!
I tried gumpo - like a fried dumpling which you sit in your milk and then eat -- tried the other things - though with all the movement from the train my stomach wasn't up for it!
we headed of on our BUS -- our dusty journey for Gainjai (cant spell it)-- ate dust the whole way -- YUM ,,.....verything is covered in it - so glad i didnt replace my camera in bejing -- thinking it might be better replacing it lata. arrived after about 8 hours driving -- and had a great dinner at Labrang Monastery restuarant- serving local tibtan nosh -- had vegiies and dofu! o cute ...the tibetans call it dofu and the chinese call it bean crud!
OH AND A BEER OF COURSE!
