The Greatest Wall of all ?...mars bar for the winner

YES you guessed it ...your all so clever.
I walked twelve towers in all, or till you could walk no further, and none other than with an old chinese companion - there poor people adopt you at the bottom and unless you have the heart to tell them to GO AWAY! they walk with you the whole way ...what a cutey though --- we walked at Simitai which is in the north eastern corner, the wall is partly intact here, hence only being able to walk 12, though that was plenty, my legs were a little wobbly after that and i still had to come down! can you believe these people actuallyt cart freezers up there to sell ice-cream ---very much appreciated, but when you see it you would really be amazed what they do for a small profit... thanks guys!
what better way to finish the day than in a truly great restaurant, hidden away in the hutongs upbehind the FORBIDDEN CITY, i tried duck (had to be done)i am in bejing after all.
it was very tasty, though not to greasy like i have had at home.
