Arlington House

After last night - all I wanted was a shower, a bed and some greasy food!

After accepting AmericaWest's generous $50 cab voucher into the city (and tipping the cabbie $22 :-) )

I arrived at HI chicago looking and feeling a lot worse for wear than i had hoped... Unfortunately the shower, food and sleep plan would be delayed as they were full!


(i would later discover that they weren't but the cockheaded faggot on the door had a habit for not checking in people that weren't up to his standards...)


I asked him where the nearest hostel was and he gave me the directions to 'Arlington Place' - the lonely planet guide informed me that i was NOT to get a basement room as it floods when it rains and the hygeine standards everywhere else were only marginally better than woomera!

Checking into my lovely basement apartment (these last two days were just getting better and better!) i was very suprised to discover that they had been renovated recently and that aside from the stains on the sheets i thought that i'd at least make it through the night!
